Anas Rashid is an Indian Television actor. He is best known for his role of Suraj in popular TV serial Diya Aur Baati Hum against Deepika Singh.

Anas Rashid belongs to a conservative Muslim family.He was born in Malerkotla,Punjab.This part of Punjab is popularly known as “Malwa”.”Anas” means “Love”.It is actually the name of a prophet. He has two brothers, two sisters and his parents in his family.

He studied in an Urdu medium school, and his grandfather was the Principal. Anas has done his Postgraduation in “Psychology”. He likes food and he is a fitness freak. He likes to sing and quite good at it. He is also a very good cook. He knows languages like Urdu, Persian, Arabic and “Punjabi” is his mother tongue.

Anas Rashid started his career from Star TV’s show ‘Kahiin To Hoga’ as Kartik Ahluwalia, a business tycoon and the eldest son of Tinu Anand, grabbed the attention of millions of hearts. Later on, he got the opportunity to play one of the most powerful kings of India – Maharaj Prithvi Raj Chauhan. He accepted all the difficult challenges to portray a clear image of the most loved king and ruled over the hearts. Recently he was seen in the afternoon-series show of Colors – ‘Aise Karo Na Vidaa’ as Kuwar Yashwardhan, a mysterious character. Though in the beginning it was difficult for all of his fans to digest his pain as a silent lover, Anas beautifully painted the character of Yashwardhan and received a lot of accolades and quality appreciation. Presently Anas is portraying a noble, good looking and sensitive guy who is in his early thirties. He has been a provider to his family from an early age, hence, he discontinued his studies after passing tenth. He is simple mind with a mind like an open book in Star plus no. 1 show Diya Aur Baati Hum as Suraj Rathi .
