Dinesh Lal Yadav alias Nirahua is a Bhojpuri (Indian folk language) singer and film actor. He is a popular face of music in Indian states like U.P, MP, Bihar & Jharkhand. He has in his credit some big block buster movies like Vidhata, Deewana and Parivar. It is rumored that he is going to do his next Bhojpuri movie “SMT Netaji” with Amitabh Bachhan.

He is well known star in Bhojpuri region. Most of his movies have done good business on Box Office. He is the first choice of south Indian producers who are investing in Bhojpuri Industry.He is a popular singer as well.One of his famous songs broke all records of popularity and became a popular call in Bhojpuri areas. The song was, Dulhin biya bemar, Nirahua satal rahe, which meant that even when the wife is bedriden with illness, Nirahua refuses to leave her alone. The song gave him his popular name Nirahua, and it stuck so much that ultimately Dinesh Lal too adopted the name. He is called the jubilee star of Bhojpuri movies.

In 2011, Dinesh alleged that he was threatened to kill by some bhojpuri producers. He alleged that he was threatened for not giving dates to producers.

In May 2012 Reliance Broadcast Network Limited’s intellectual property vertical, BIG Live, Radio arm 92.7 BIG FM & Regional TV Channel BIG Magic announced him as their Brand Ambassador for its music awards for U.P, MP, Bihar & Jharkhand ‘BIG Hindustan Music Awards’- the biggest celebration of regional music in Central India.
