Surbhi Jyoti is an Indian television actress and TV anchor. She is also a popular face in Punjabi movies and Punjabi soap operas.

Early life

Surbhi Jyoti was born on May 29, 1988 into a Punjabi-Brahmin family hailing from Jalandhar. Surbhi has completed her schooling from Shiv Jyoti Public School, Jalandhar, and
graduation from Hansraj Morarji Public College. Later, she did her MA in English from Apeejay College of Fine Arts. Surbhi’s father is into the rubber chemical business and her mother is a home-maker.
Surbhi’s younger brother Sooraj Jyoti is pursuing his engineering (B. Tech). She is a talented theater artist and debater who has won the national debate competition thrice.

Career

Before making her debut on Indian television, Surbhi Jyoti acted in many Punjabi movies, shows, and videos. She appeared in films as Raula Pai Gaya, Munde Patiale De. She has been an anchor of shows like Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya and others. Currently, she is playing lead Sanam in Qubool Hai serial. She was also
an RJ and hosted several shows.

On Star Plus a coming up with the new thriller show titled Koi Laut Ke Aya Hai. Surbhi Jyoti has been roped in to play the female lead Geetanjali opposite Shoaib Ibrahim as Abhimanyu. The makers have also roped in Shaleen Malhotra to play Major Rajveer Malhotra, the protagonist Geetanjali’s (Surbhi Jyoti) childhood friend. The show will go on-air from the 25 February.
Surbhi Jyoti is rumoured to be dating Zoravar Singh.Zoravar Singh is actress Madhurjeet Singh’s brother and an upcoming actor.However, no relationship confirmation has come from Surbhi Jyoti or Zoravar Singh.
